Heathen X2 for me. The torque would look good on a blinged out Busa not a KZ IMO.
Does the Hayabusa not have roller bearings in the swingarm pivot? Probably won't matter for your build, but you will have a little more stiction in that rear suspension without bearings.

I like a simple spoke pattern. Since you're not going 180 I'll give you 190,.. 200 tops.

Ya the Busa has roller bearings in the pivot tube, but I took them out and made bushings that fit the kz pivot bolt. I'm only useing the Busa arm so I can get my monoshock mounting tabs in the correct place. I'm not keeping the Busa arm on the bike it's only for mockup.
I think I like the Heathen a little better also.

I thought about spokes. but its hard to find hubs for sportbike rotors and axle dia. Why do you say 190 200 tops you don't think I can get a 240 on there?

Cool man, I figured that you had a plan in mind. I'm not sure how long aluminum bushings would last in the real world with 500 lbs of motorcycle levered on them. I did pretty much the same thing with my bike. I kept the little GSXR 750 around long enough to get the pick-up points from the stock suspension. I made 4140 steel bushings to fit over the KZ pivot bolt and still use the roller bearings in the GSXR swingarm.

Oh, you'll get it in there alright. I just think a 240 is a little too "chopperesque". I like Rolland Sands' customs, cool and practical. Your bike is also cool and practical, you know?... maybe I should shut up.

No need to shut up, all comments are welcome and no offence taken at all. I actualy wanted to run a 6.0 wide rear tire but the people are around me talked me into a 240 set up because you just don't see that many of them. And if you have ever been on a streched out and slammed old kaw, they are not that practical anyway.(lol)
