Thanks PLUMMEN I am glad you like them, I was unsure of what they would look like when I was drawing them, things tend to look different after you cut them rather than on the computer, I wanted something that I had not seen done before and I think I got it.

I was going to make a welding fixture for the handle bars but I went ahead and cut a set of foot peg brackets that I had drew up last week. They are made for a after market set of foot peg assemblies for a gsx-r 1000. I made them with plenty of adjustment down, back,up whatever. Not sure if I like them or not just yet I'll see if they grow on me.

i think the fact that you beveled the edges instead of just leaving things all sharp looking makes it look more like a finished casting, keep em coming!

Worked a few hours today finishing up the frontend so I can get this thing rolling so I can get a idea of the ride hight.
I cut the stock that I had left on the stem for fitting. And pressed the stem in the bottom tree and put the frontend on and put a swingarm on so I could check my hight. That is about how I want it to sit just not that long.
Then I put the mock up motor in and bolted everything up tight, then tack welded my lower motormount rail and my monoshock mounting rail in place. So sunday I will take out the motor and finish welding those up and work on the rest of the monoshock linkage. Sometime over the weekend I need to pick out a set of wheels that I want to run so I can order them this week, I need the rear one asap, because I am going to run a 240 rear tire setup. If I had that I could build the swingarm an start my outboard bearing support. And at somepoint during the weekend I will try to come up with some idea on a head light clamp set up, I am going to use an old gs1150 big flat 8 inch head light so I need to come up with something cool.

Are you going drag racing with this bike or is it a bike night bike?
Click the link to see how I made some headlight mounting tabs to fit over the USD forks. I just bent up some 16ga and welded in some 6mm nuts. I know that you could pull this one off.

I like what I see so far. That is a very creative way of getting your handlebars around the tops of the forks while keeping everything low.

Not a true drag bike at least not with a 240 rear tire and it won't be a trailer queen, I just get a little carried away when I build things, I run the piss out of every thing I build or own.
Thanks for the link for the head lamp brackets I will check it out.

Ok this morning I worked a little on the monoshock set up, I took an old Hayabusa swingarm that I had cut the top brace off of and turned down some aluminum bushings/spacers that fit the kz pivot bolt.I made it a tight fit because I am useing a hayabusa rear shock set up and I want to keep as much as the Busa geometry as possible. Today I will take some measurements off of a Hayabusa frame that I have and also from my 05 GSX-R 750, From that I should be able to keep it pretty close to the same geometry as a Busa. But now I am going to go cut the grass before it gets to be 110 in the shade!

I'm not big on directional mags/spokes like the Torque. I really like the Heathen, though. Just my 2 cents.
