Is the drawing adaptation below  better suited for our DOHC motorcycle engine applications?



 
It applies to any four stroke piston.
The cam configuration bears no influence.

Separation improves with the Top and 2nd ring gaps flipped, in relation to the Oil Rail positions noted in the illustration.
