Yeah. Now that is what I am talking about. I talked to Yanni and some of the guys I ride with, one of which has an Indian, and they want to ride down that way. Just have to find one nice weekend that will be good for us to come down and hopefully you all can meet up so we can all ride. Nice pics.

By all means Saxjonz, come on down!
This area is LOADED with all kinds of bikers, and we do have fun!
In a couple weeks the leaves will be turning, and you just gotta see the rolling hills and red maples.
Just make sure you have an M on your license and your insurance card. We went through a police road block that was specifically targeting bikers. Said they were just checking Licenses and insurance info. I about freaked when I couldn't find my insurance card, when I knew it was in my wallet somewhere. He let me go anyway though.
I'm not exactly sure when we're planning this ride, but I'll try to get it posted on KZR early enough to get some more riders going with us.

Beesting, I live in Grafton Illinois. Although the towns people don't really want to be known as such it has become very well known weekend biker town. Lots of bikers come over from Missouri to enjoy the river road, no helmet law, and the bars. Just a small river town during the week days, but on the weekend, if the weather's nice, it kinda turns into a mini Sturgis kinda thing. Yeah, mostly Harleys, but lots of others too. Very few KZ's though.

Riding gear?
Sometimes. Mostly when I'm going to be in city traffic. Then I want all I can get. I know, flawed thinking.
But on a leisurley cruise in the country, about the only way to get in an accident is to make it happen myself. And knock on wood, I've been riding this way for thirtyfive years...
And then there's the fact that I know a guy that lives in a wheel chair, drools on his chest and craps in a bag because he was wearing a helmet during his accident, instead of dying a quick and decent death. Makes me ponder the point of it all.
I dunno...
