It took longer than I wanted but finally got the frame and bits back from powder coat. I went with a color called "Almost Chrome", I thought it would be a bit more "shiny" but I am happy with it just the same. I will have more pics up this evening with the engine back in.

Well since I'm waiting on parts, I decided to get the oil cooler mounted. Looks pretty good to me. Made my own lines with AN fittings and braided stainless.

LOL! Thanks Cory. Wiring starts tomorrow, should be pretty simple since I will be running an M-unit.

I really liked the M-Unit, but my wallet couldn't open far enough to buy it.... I am sure it will be very cool! I am just using a ZRX harness that I will be custom fitting/modding. Let us know how it turns out!

There isn't much info in the way of installation of the M-unit available so it will be a well documented process. I was going to use their hand controls also but I didn't want to take to much away from the KZ look. Eventually I will get modern gauges installed in the factory cans so it looks more old school. The M-unit had to may features to pass up. The RF dongle will be added soon.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationYeah I am going the Keyless start as well using this system:

I am also thinking about going petcock-less (Sounds dirty doesn't it?) and running and running a fuel solenoid under the seat that can be activated by the security system which will also then cut fuel when the bike shuts off.

Your link to eBay would show, might be an expired listing. The fuel solenoid is cool but around here most motorcycles are packed up on a trailer/truck. I would like to see if I can install a GPS tracker hidden in the tail section or something.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThe petcock really isn't for security, but just to clean up that part of the tank system and make it nice to not remember to turn the fuel off and on.

Try this....

That's pretty cool Cory. Do you know of anyone that has used one? Unfortunately this device as well as mine only prevents joy riding. My understanding is most of these bikes are stolen for parts.
