Is there a place approved by this great forum on where to get viton tipped quality float needle/jet whatever they are called?

1981 GPz550. TK22s ...



 

The OEM needle is not viton tipped.  

With Mikuni carbs, there are optional float valves using viton tip needles, but I'm unaware of any for Tekei carbs.  Hoping to be informed, though...

In case you aren't aware the motorcycle stuff page by loudhvx has a lot of TK-22 info.  AFAIK, there aren't many parts available for those carburetors, but there are still some K&L Supply carburetor kits for the KZ550, which include the stock-type float needle valves. A K&L part number on his site is 18-2462, but I also saw some 16-2462 kits on eebbaayy that are similar. 
TK-22 related, be sure to read the part about "those darn choke flaps." the quote is his words, not mine. ha ha.
