How much for the ones you mentioned you have a core for plus the rebuild work? Which model are they?

The cores I have came from a GPz750.  They are BS34's, the same model carb that came on a bunch of other bikes, including the 1000P bikes.

One problem: one of the slide diaphragms has a small tear.  I've been looking for a new slide, but can't find one for a reasonable price.

I'm contemplating changing the diaphragm myself, as I've done on other sets, but that's not my first choice.  I need to check my spares box for a diaphragm.  I'll do that if you are serious about wanting these carbs.

Another thing, these are black carbs.  I'll strip them, but the best path is to fully restore them, with bead blasting the exterior, and replating all the hardware, which will drive the cost above my normal $250 for a rebuild.

Let me check my spares for the diaphragm, then get back to you.  Please email me if you are serious.  I'm pretty sure that my email address is visible in my profile.

Chris, my KZP got 30 mpg to just a little over 30 mpg. And with a four gallon tank that wasn’t cutting it because I wanted to do some LD riding. The police bikes use an aggressive jet needle.
Using the advice of a member here we arranged a needle swap, he wanted my police needles. With his advice on jetting plus his needles I managed 45 to 50 mpg and the bike starts, idles perfectly and the throttle response was spot-on from day one. I really didn’t notice a power deficit until I steepend the gearing for less rpm at highway speed.

As I said earlier, there was a section here where members could list modifications/results but I can not find it.

I'd offer him $200 and see if he bites.

STEVE, those carbs are listed on eBay for $969 + $69 for shipping!!!  $200?  While I agree that they aren't worth more than that, the dudes going to have a stroke at your offer!

If it's the guy I'm thinking about he'll take the offer.

Blipco: you think I can get similar results as you on stock carbs with 4 to 1 pipe and pods? Might not do pods if I can find a better option that isn’t the factory box

It doesn't work.  Gives me undeliverable.

Please check the for sale thread about carbs I posted.  Inside you will find my email address.

Would have to join the KZMarket on FB. There's some new RS 34's on there too.
