I remember a guy I worked with almost 30 years ago using one of these on his hotted up Mini Cooper. He used to swear by it.

Z1 Enterprises just advised that they do not have a source for Colortune at this time.

Other USA suppliers seem to want upwards of $35-$40 USD for shipping... ouch! :pinch:

To eliminate customs and red tape, does anyone have a source in Canada?

I just ordered one from the link OMR provided from the previous page. The cost was 59.95 and shipping was 10.00 (US funds). It gives you the option to use ups or USPS. Use USPS. If you have it shipped via ups, they (ups) will charge you a 25.00 brokerage fee. You won't get this using USPS. Here's the link again. It doesn't mention anything about the brokerage fee when you order, but unless etoolcart has their own broker, you will get dinged for it. Also, expect to pay for the applicable pst and gst.

Bill, Etoolcart sent me an email with a new shipping quote today of 33.50 so I canceled the order. Go figure.

it is amazing that something so small can cost so much to ship is'nt a shame i sent my dyna 4000 down to dyna tek to get repaired and the shipping costs on my end were 35.00 because i got extra insurance and it was to arrive in three days or less so i was willing to pay extra they repaired it and sent it back to me at no extra cost to my self but when you buy something as small as a colortune kit and they charge that kind of money it is ridiculous.

I'm in Sanderson, Texas for a few days.

Anyone know if I can pick up a Colortune kit in the Fort Stockton, Midland or Odessa area?

Bill, mine showed up pretty fast so maybe this is a solution for you....

Order it today but have it shipped where you'll be in Texas.... If hotel, have it shipped there and they will hold it for you until you arrive....

I did this a lot when traveling for business... So I didn't have to lug around a whole slew of crap through the airports, I shipped directly to the hotel a day or two before flying out and notify the hotel I was doing so. They'd be laughing for I'd have 5 large cases plus all over the office area... Funnier than hell the look on their faces...

If family/friends, no big deal then....

Yea, the shipping prices shot up real fast when gas prices went so high. The gasoline is now half the cost it was, but the shipping prices haven't dropped - imagine that.

Regarding the colortune (mine is on its way), do you guys think that if you had the wrong size pilot jet installed you wouldn't be able to get the blue color no matter where you put the mixture screw?
