A neodidium (sp?) magnet would be strong enough most likely but very pricey. Would be tough to get a magnet strong enough to pull it without being significantly expensive, but I guess an alternative would be to build your own electro-magnet?

The potential problem with using a magnet is that it will magnetize the bucket somewhat. After that any steel filings, etc. can stick to the bucket and cause excessive wear. Ed

Farm and fleet sells a 5 or 6 inch long magnet that is very strong for around 10-12 bucks I think it was..... had one stuck and found out it had a burr that was hanging it up and I couldn't get it out either ......... never thought about what Ed said though about the magnetizing of it ..... think there is a way to de magnetize it but not sure how or what that would cost too.................... I dropped a nettle valve in high grass a few months later and it saved me by finding it with it..... thought I took it outta the carb and shook the carb off the side of the porch to get rid of the gas and there it went.

I'd keep trying with it on it's side and let the spring action do the work for you.

I think I will skip the magnet thing, never thought about the bucket will be slightly magnetized, smart thinking. I found a diy dent pull method. Take a dowel cut down to about 6-10in and hot glue the end to the bucket. Put a couple wood screws in the sides for grip and pull up, or tap the screws upwards with a hammer. This will be tomorrow to do. I will post pictures and such.

here is what I did, hot glued this barrel to the bucket :P . Turns out the model barrel fit LAWLESSLY inside the bucket. Glued it down, and tried to pull up on the barrel, it helped a ton with gripping it but still...no sauce. The hot glue peeled after x amount of pressure. I cant believe how stuck it is. I was probably putting about 40lbs of pulling on there. So pretty much its now down to doing whatever to get the bucket out...even damaging the bucket, but preferably NOT THE HEAD. Key words. So I was thinking I could either try the same process but with JB Weld, love that stuff ha...or I could actually tac weld a eye hook onto the bucket, problem with that is...the springs and valve are right under it.

So after thinking about it, the vibration and such could have been from that cylinder 1 exhaust valve tappet sticking when in the higher rpm....as far as the cylinder 4 intake tappet seizing, that's probably from low oil. When the bike is on its kick stand and leaked out most the oil to its left, the side being the highest would have leaked nearly all the oil from that side. WELLLLL ebay has some tappets for fairly cheap so ill probably buy those and remove these ones in a harsh manor. Learned my lesson.

That's bad news...... hoping if its stuck that bad it doesn't tear up the surface the bucket rides on while yanking it out but at this point you have no other option.

I'd try heating up the head and pulling it out with vice grips first.

Yea last night I had an idea. I could either heat it up with a butane torch in a circlin motion or put it in the oven at 450-500....yes I will be wearing gloves haha. I'd still like to salvage what I have or try to.

Use the oven. Keep in mind that this will cook the valve seals left in there, so plan to replace them.
