Yes, Gerex ignition with coils and spark plug wires. It's set up a little hokey with the duct tape and zip ties.
I'm waiting on a Caswell epoxy tank sealer after cleaning out the tank of rust.
I'm waiting on a carb rebuild kit after taking the carburetor out and cleaning it.
I'm still deciding about a fuel pump and regulator replacement, plus maybe a pingle fuel petcock to prevent fuel starvation, hence the ultra lean fuel ratio the turbo can produce under boost. The Zenith/Bendix carb on the bike was set as rich as it could go. Maybe overcompensating because the top end was clearly rebuilt through viewing the cylinders with my endoscope and the base gasket.
Waiting on parts, cleaning the rusty chrome with 0000 ultra fine steel wool and chrome cleaner. Still pitted, but shiny. That's what happens when even though it was in a shop, it's near the ocean.
Thanks Street Fighter Dave for your interest and tips.

That's a good looking turbo LTD.

I took a chance on the J&P 38 mm Bendix carb rebuild kit hoping the bowl gasket was the same as a 42 m carburetor gasket, and it was.

Street Fighter LTD and everyone else, thanks for all the good info.
I did get the bike running a couple of nights ago. Gravity can, big gap (.067") on the plugs. Reset gaps to .039" the next day, and it started much easier and ran much better. I'm still deciding what fuel pump and regulator to use. There's still a long way to go before I get it on the road again -- brakes, fuel tank, etc.
These turbo setups are new to me, so I'm still learning.
I'm ordering and waiting for parts, cleaning up what I can in the meantime.
Oh by the way, I uncorked it to start it. Not as loud as an uncorked Kerker, but still shakes the ground.
Until the next update, Rock on!

Thanks and I might go with that, but I don't know if 32 gph would be enough. Checking it out.

The last pump I had on my  bike was a Holley Red Pump with a  seperate regulator  which I had sitting on a spare parts shelf  ..It worked just fine  ( No Lean conditions )
The pumps that came with the turbo kits were small cute little things
Other fuel options are  S&S  carbs  , Keihen  came with my kit,
The best is the 42mm Mikuni flat slide which I have on my bike now.  Mr Turbo offered a deep bowl extention .. I never got around to ordering it and could kick myself now LOL

FYI - Mikuni do sell a main jet extender kit for the HSR42 carbs. It could help when you nail the throttle, sort of a deep sump.

Thanks for the info buddy.

The part I was  speaking of is a extention of the entire float bowl.

Yes, I got that, but I think that may have been a custom Mr Turbo part. I could find float bowl extenders for big VM carbs but nothing for flat slides.

Just wanted to let you know that Mikuni offers this extender kit as it may substitute for a extender shim.
