Also might want to check all those Air cut diaphragms underneath the 3-screw covers. They can get pin-holed or mushy. Unfortunately they are super hard to find. Believe someone is remaking them though?

26 Aug 2025 06:22 - 26 Aug 2025 06:29It seems a bit "hit and miss" which years and markets had the enrichment valves - however as this guy is in Europe CMNSL have OEM and aftermarket if needed (check out that price difference !!!!) - I suspect the OEM version is cut from Unicorn's foreskins !!!!!Also might want to check all those Air cut diaphragms underneath the 3-screw covers. Thanks for the replies, Asphalt I found that ebay vendor, shipping and import taxes do double the price of that for me + very long shipping. I will check with a reputable shop though in the Netherlands that specialise only in big zeds,
www.classickawaparts.nl
, someone advised them to me. If they don't work or they can't give me good info on the brand I'll bite the bullet and buy them from the US.
I did check two of those diaphrams and they seem to be in good condition though. Not mushy, no pinholes. I did have the carbs off again, and tried with that cheap set but you're right they are even different sizes and leak. I did polish the oem seats up and used the needles of the tourmax set and they seem to hold up, but overflow after an hour or so again, but maybe that is in fact normal that it is not sealing 100% with the gravity pushing fuel in the carbs like Nessism said ? I'm testing with a bottle of fuel hanging over the carbs. I will install them though and see what it gives.
I dropped the floats in a bowl of gas and they all float and don't sink neither.
What I did find out is that my vacuum petcock isn't sealing completely. I rebuilt it two years ago though. I took it apart again now and it seems to give about 10 - 20 drops each hour. Is this acceptable ? Because if not I'll bite the bullet too and buy an expensive replacement since the rebuild kit didn't work.
