I did this years back, the stock 26mm's for my silver & black bolt themed bike
I high temp cleared the tops and bottoms. Them baked em' I was going to paint bodies urethane single stage, but never got that far.
But, sold now.
PLus this was my 77-78 under bowl air jet adjuster from 30 yrs. ago.
That little small Craftsman screwdriver that came in the set. I think I cut it down on purpose.

I am sure they will look and work like brand new, once you do what you do to them!!! Any info on internals and ID marks would be appreciated. To be truthful I am more interested in the vm carbs than the bs ones, but any data good or bad is more useful than none at all. At least in my eyes.

I found more pictures for these 34 Mikuni's I never knew anything about them or used them. But they are sold off.
They did clean up good for as far as I went them stopped.
I guess this night was a nice sunset to my Kaw career!

This set of BS34's came from Canada, so that means adjustable needles and richer jetting. I've got them soaking now, and will take a proper inventory of the numbers a little later. Thankfully, the slide diaphragms are in great shape. Those are some of the parts that can scuttle a simple rebuild project, since replacements are so hard to come by. And from experience, Kawasaki changed the slides over the years; the cop bikes for example, at least in later years, used different parts.

I know there are differences in how the float bowl vent(s) are set up between some of the BS carbs.

Some versions of the Suzuki GS BS carbs uses plastic Vent Tee parts, where tubes are attached and then routed up by the airbox, open to the atmosphere. These KZ BS carbs don't have those.

Here is a pic showing what I was talking about. On top each carb has a vent located in the intake bell and no connection between other carbs. The lower set has the connections between carbs.
