So I have 1980 kz1000 shaft drive and I ordered kits for it without thinking it may not have the stock carbs, get the kits in and nothing fits, confirm they're the correct kits so gotta be different carbs right? Have been looking everywhere to see what these have come off of but no luck so far.. haven't been able to measure bit can say the have accelerator pump mixture screw on the side and as far as numbers go all I've been able to see is that 120 and a 5 in 2 lines on all  carbs.. Any help please?

Can you tell what the inner diameter is of the side that goes into the engine? is it 26mm or 28mm?

Why do you want to replace all the old brass?  Are the jets damaged and float valves leaking?  Typically you can recycle those parts after a good cleaning.

Thank you for the fix on the pictures.. I've not been able to measure them yet, but I'm still trying on that, as far as the want to replace.. I bought the bike how it is, it currently has dyna ignition and coils, jerker 4-into-1 and pod filters on these unknown carburetors.. and the jetting has always been awful.. like cleaning black sooty plugs every other day.. along with floats constantly sticking, sitting riding didn't matter sticking all the time, I've had these things apart what seems like a billion times now and no matter how many times I clean they stick and the jetting is aweful.. and single I want to install a dynojet kit to go with the pipe and pods knowing the carbs would be helpful and I'd like to get the rebuild kits to replace needle/seat sets, I rings, gaskets.. and to maybe try to find diagrams as well.. I'm used to Harleys to be honest here and down where the mixture screw goes there is usually a tiny o-ring and washer, do these not?

28mm with accelerator pump. Use 1980 kz1000 LTD B4 to order parts. They should have plastic floats. You can buy them separately as they won’t be included in any kits. As Nessism says, keep all the brass. OEM Mikuni is best. Float needle needs to be inspected for wear on the top. If it’s not worn polish the seat with a qtip in a cordless drill with mother Aluminium polish. The needle can also be carefully put in a drill and polish the tip with 2000 wet sandpaper. I’m almost 100% sure all vm26 and vm28 carbs use the same float.

So after doing some more looking around today it seems as if these may be the correct kits, it one of the only I see that has the same mixture screw that my carbs have, so when ordering a dynojet kit do I order it for a 80 kz1000b ltd? I appreciate everyone's help just trying to not have a second set of carb kits and Dynojet sitting around that I can't use

Looks correct. But I can’t verify as I have only bought “kits” once, Keyster brand.

Thanks to everyone's help I've got the correct kits in and I've got everything most of the way installed but I have one last question for everyone.. the dynojet kit instructions are aweful at best.. my question is when installing the needle from the dynojet kit do I keep or get rid of the orange plastic spacers above and below the e clip? Looks like the top one gets replaced by The adjustment washer but not 100% sure
