BS34 - Missing plug and o-ring - part search

The plug is there. It's tapered and sits below the surface. There is a flat donut O-ring type seal that sits on top of the plug. As mentioned, a fat O-ring of the appropriate diameter can be used instead.

Never having seen the carbs before the PO overhauled them, I didn't know what was "correct". Looks like I just need to get an appropriate o-ring and I can move on to the Pilot Jet Plugs and o-rings and all the parts will at least be inside the carbs.

That seems to be a super random part to be able to find and take a picture of. I appreciate you taking the time to do that.

Do you by chance still have one of these plugs?  Part number is 92066-1086.  Kawasaki says unavailable and I can't find any on EBay or Amazon.  Any help is appreciated.

If I am not mistaken, those plugs are for the pilot jet. I am looking for the aluminum pucks, approximately 10mm in diameter,  that block the intake throat closest to the intake flange and abut the float bowl with the square cut donut o-ring on top of it.  Z1 enterprises sells the aluminum pucks for the GL Honda.......

There is some confusion in this thread.  92066-1086 is the tapered aluminum plug.  The pilot plug is (obviously) different.

Correct Nessism, I need the aluminum tapered plug.  I've attached a pic

I'm not aware of either brand Suzuki or Kawasaki using these Mikuni BS carbs that offered that aluminum slightly tapered plug separately. The hole it fills is just a leftover because of the original machining process/access needed to drill those pilot bypass holes directly behind the throttle butterfly plate. Where did the original ones go? Sometimes they aren't that tight and that square oring will stick to the bowl gasket also sticking to the aluminum upon removal and get tossed in the trash before one realizes it. Or hit the floor and roll away ha. Only way to get an original set would be to wreck them out of another set. They are the same between the BS32's and BS34's i believe. Is this needed for finishing your bike or for resale of the carb assembly and how many are you missing?    

I stand corrected!! Ness is correct, that plug does indeed have a part number, never knew?? But since discontinued NLA and ebay doesn't have any. 

Good morning, everyone.  Even though they are NLA, I found a dealer in MN that had two in stock.  I bought both, so my problem has been fixed.  Before that, I went to the shop, found a junk set of GS carbs that are also BS34s, and took one out of them.  Basically, my carbs are fixed, and I have two extra plugs.  I appreciate everyone's help.  How I got in this in the first place was I bought 4 sets of BS34's off a guy on EBay.  I'm cleaning and restoring all four sets and then gonna sell them.  In my experience, those carbs are perfect for the type of riding I do.  

Super Groovy numbers!! I was going to mention about calling a local Kawasaki/Suzuki dealership parts dept but didn't want to overwhelm You. I used to do it all the time with my local dealer but they have new ownership and aren't soo obliging anymore. What's happened over the past decades are "power buyers" will snatch-up all this old stuff, pennies on the dollar and resell it on ebay/other venues. Dealerships don't want it because this stuff takes up real estate. They want room for "newer" parts. Glad You got it sorted though..and spares.
