I believe stock is somewhere in the 12's.

Larry - not to hijack the thread, but my carbs clack no matter how close I set up the synch. I set the synch mechanically on the bench with 4 equal ball bearings that fall through the slides as i slowly crank open the idle adjuster. Set 'em so thEy all fall through at the same time.

I can't seem to set them with a vacuum gauge rack because as soon as I remove the top cover on a particular carb, air leaks past the sides of the slide and changes how that cylinder runs. What am I missing?

note to self: when you get squirley let out of the gas slowely......:laugh: was thinking of the extensions for the arm, but ill wait till i drive it for a bit to see if its needed.

i have read 11's-13's stock. i guess theres too many factors. wieght of rider, track conditions, altitude.......:dry:


like everything else in life....i guess ill just have to find out.

yeah be really carefull about backing out of throttle going down track,things go from bad to worse really fast! :S

i hear you guys. im all about safety. i know its scary but i used to tech in bikes and cars at moroso for years. plus raced nhra and now also ihra. seen lots of crashes and close calls. makes your heart stop when your at the end of the track and a car hits the wall at 200 plus. my brother and i were 15 foot from the wall, and let me tell you........i grabbed him and ran my ass the other way.:ohmy:
