UPDATE:

The crackhead at the parts counter at the local dealer was wrong, the slides for the 750 twins are discontinued like all other parts for the 750 twins.

The info on repairing the rubbers was interesting, they just slide on and off the plastic lip.

I already did the probond fix on mine and it worked... so far. Obviously, I'd like some that don't need patching regularly hence my interest in getting new ones if possible. But, it runs fine now.... for now. But the rubbers in there will continue to sprout cracks since that is age related.

Next time I have them out, I'll measure them.
