Spark Plugs Wires.

Hey guys, first post here. I recently bought an 83 kz650 H3 and was wondering if there is a part number associated with the spark plug wires or do I have to get universal wires and cut them to length and put the connectors on. I can see arcing between the boot and the cooling fin on one and will get shocked if i touch the other ones. Any help would be very appreciated.

You can use bulk spark plug wire. probably 7mm copper core type. If you still have the stock wires, you can remove the outer sheathing & put it on the new wires (I think Nessism did this). use silicone spray as a lubricant. When I installed new Dyna coils, I went ahead & installed the Dyna spark plug wire set from Z1Enterprises.com, since they included the spark plug caps. This was the easy thing to do. hee.

The cap's should be replaced too, or at least check the resistance. Z1 Enterprises sells both the wire and NGK caps for good prices.
