Getting started on Bossie's new home. I posted it in Daily Chatter as to keep this thread for maintenance and mechanical items.
Progress will be posted there. Here's the link.

Had to meet them in Riverside. Cold, windy and rainy ride. The chain wore out before the sprockets did. Got a RK O ring SO chain. Made in Japan.

It should last a while.

I thought the bad chain was making it leak, now I'm not so sure.

Just got back. Using my cell as a hotspot up there took too long.

Hello Steve
Your front sprocket is worn-out. I think you need a new chain/sprocket kit in the near future.
PS
Love your videos and bad spelling:lol:

I have a new 15 tooth sprocket and the chain is new. Runs smooth though. I may put it on until I get a 16. Bad spelling?

DonĀ“t wait to long with the renewing. A worn-out front sprocket can worn-out a new chain very quick. Your desert environment,(abrasive sand),accelerate the wear and tear on all chain/sprocket parts!!!

I expected it to wear faster, that's why i'm going to put on the 15. Tach's awful high with it but I guess I can wait a couple weeks for the 16. Got the chain for $50, CHEAP for a EK chain. The other one had to go. Just getting by until I can get the whole magilla. ;)
