Thanks Grumpy, I will keep at it. I am using a Rustelem lacquer . Plan to lay down some vinyl and clearcoat. All new ground for this guy.

Looks like just gauges and assembly. I have a set that came with a Mark II motor I picked up. May just go a different direction. Sure could have been worse. Imagine if the body work was on it?

I lowered the lift to the ground and then drug it off and righted it. Was not to bad but my back did hurt a bit the next day

Well, I have been getting my butt whopped on this painting thing. The tank I originally planned on using did not fit right. The petcock bung was further back and hit the top of the carbs. Ended using my Z1 tank, there goes that extra set. Got some gauges that came with a MKII motor I just picked up.So after many sessions of priming painting and sanding I have a paint job I am satisfied with. . Now to get everything together and get a seat pad made.
