No Joe not done just been lazy as hell. But I did do some bracing to the frame and start on channeling the frame.

Its been a good while since I even looked at the old kaw,so today I had some time so I looked things over to see were the hell I left off, after I looked things over and made a mental note I started to finish up the motor mounts, some frame braceing and a little welding so I can get it ready to send the frame out to powder coat. So I made a rear top motor mount today out of .875 dia .125 wall dom tubing. I turned down two peices of steel to fit tight inside the tubing about .375 or so and left .375 sticking out, drilled and taped them for a 8mm screw, cut some tabs out of .187 plate steel and started welding. Over the next few weeks I hope to get more time in on the old girl, but only time will tell.

I recognize that fender. Good to see you get back to work on this project.

Today I started working on what to do with the battery and all the other electrical that needs to be relocated. After reading Mfolks post on the Ballistics batteries I went to there web site and did some more reading and got the deminsions of there batteries and decided that I will order the 12 cell evo2. So with the deminsions they gave I added a litle bit for some pading inside the battery box,and made up an aluminum box and started working on the inner fender.

Seriously, that's a hell for stout battery box Mike! One of these days I'll learn how to weld like that! Superb craftsmanship
