I thought I would shair this with you guys. I bought a 81 CSR from a friend of mine. Since I do NOT like the crusers I thought I would be different and make something more interresting to me. A GPZ1?00. Wel the initial investment for the bike was $1600 tan came all the ebay parts.
Well here goes Head light, Headlight mounts, Front forks, Front brakes, Master Cylinder (new), GS1100 Swingarm, New Avon Venom tyers, GPZ seat, GPZ Tank, GPZ Sidecovers, Mikuni 33mm Smooth boars, New Paint job, two rims, KZ1300 Rear axel, KZ900 gront axel, New turn signals, Front fairing, Front fender, Oil cooler, New low bars, ALL New cables, New gripps, New windshield, 1984 gpz instrument cluster New custom built Tytanium shifter lever, KZ1300 rear brake pedal, Wisco 1166 kit, MAC Pipe, New Progressive 14" rear shocks, PLUS a ton of miscelenious hardware etc.etc. And I am sure I have forgotten a lot.

Here is the work on the tank. The stripper used was bought at a PPG dealer and is an aircraft grade.

The front fender, Fairing, sidecovers and tail piece, I painted with PPG DBC/DBU and 2002 clear coat. The color I had mixed to match the oryginal bike color in which I bought it. The Trim stripes I mixed myself and are a dark purplish red and a Tytanium silver with a touch of red tint.

All of the sidecovers will be "Gun-coated" gloss black as you may have noticed a few have already been. I have baught spair engine covers and have finished all but the alternator cover. I have also decided to install Brakes from a 86 GPZ in front. (Not yet finished rebuilding them) Also you may have noticed the GPZ front forks. The front tyre is undersized it is only a 100 and not a 110 on a 19" rim.
