Hi Guys, I won't be as active as I used to but I will be on here every once in a while. I had the bike dinod this somer and it is putting out 132hp at the rear wheel. The IMULATORS are ONE of the best investments I have made on this bike. It makes the front end as good as installing one of the more modern ones without having to go through all the extra work. They are 100%+++++++++ worth every penny. I have also mounted a set of shorter Police forks and the 18" KZ1300 wheel with the larger rotors and a set of dual calliper 600 Ninja callipers. The smaller wheel and the shorter fork tubes give the bike a completely different stance. I will take some pictures and post them as soon as I can.

I am still riding to work on the bike, though not as far as I used to (thank God) I used to ride 82mi each day to and from work now only about 16mi to and from. I rode on Thursday and that is saying a lot being up here in Chicago. I broke the 4k Mi mark on the engine this last month and there no problems to report. I think I will pull the carbs and clean them for the first time since I put them on the bike. The smaller front wheel with the new calipers and shorter police fork tubes with the emulators installed are working out great. One of the best handling mods I have done to the bike. The original HID and all the LED auxiliary lights are holding up 100% The new front wheel has (obviously) a new Avon and the rear wheel is still the one I put on there when I originally built the bike. It is now about four years old but the tread is still in very good shape. Not even close to mid life yet. I condition the side rubber a couple of times a year with "transmission seal stop leak" and it keeps it from drying out and cracking.

Since we are burried under a couple feet of snow i will post some more pictures in the near future. My alternator went out at the end of last season and i have to replace that as soon as it warms up.

Hi Guys,

Ken from BikeBuilds.net here.  Love those old GPz's!

We were glad to add otakar's bike to our directory: www.bikebuilds.net/kawasaki-gpz1150-build-by-otakar

If anyone would like to have a build of their own listed, just send me a message with a link to the build thread and we'll take care of the rest.

Ken
