If you are reffering to clearcoating polished Aluminum with Gunkote. The bigest expense is the polishing of the parts. The clearcoating of the eight parts (Boles & Domes)would be $50. Polishing of the parts would be about half hour each. You would be looking at about four hours of polishing for the eight parts. The parts must not be polished to a mirror finish because the gunkote neads the fine scratches to stick to.

I should get rid of all of the spare parts from the CSR. anyone who is reading this Forum. here is a partial list, at least the parts I can think of.
Fuel tank (no emblems no fuel float or petcock.)
Side covers (with emblems)
Front forks (no Trip tree)
Oryginal coils
Headlight with mount
Front brake master cylinder.
Spoke wheels 2 F & R
Air Box with boots
Brake pedal
Rear tail light
Swing arm
Rear Shocks
That is what I can think of at the moment. I have not thought of selling the parts before now so no ferm prices have been astablished. No REASONABLE offer will be refused

For the last few weeks I have been wrestling with a dilemma. I want to mount a oil cooler on the bike but it is very hard to find any kind of clean provisions to mount the oil lines onto the crank case. So, I decided to make my own. Here is a new oil pressure oil Bypass unit, modified to mount 3/8" compression fitting, solid Aluminum oil lines.

View from other side. I also decided to make provisions for a oil pressure gauge while I was at it. The unit is a modified stock "J" series oil bypass with aluminum elbow added for return and Stainless 3/8" tubing fittings.

Ha! You read my mind, Mark! That's exactly what I was thinking.

I wonder if we got tuxedotito and this guy together if it'd be like introducing the "Keymaster" to the "Gatekeeper"!? :woohoo:

Since I am punching the engine to a 1170 I plan on using a larger oil cooler than the standard GPZ came with. I also plan on using solid Aluminum 3/8 oil lines which also will dissipate heat quite efficiently. I plan on running the lines over the top of the engine, to hide them as much as possible.

Well guys, Santa was nice to me and got me a REAL Xenon headlight conversion kit. WOW, a 100 Watts of light from 35 Watts of juice. I have also finally finished my new instrument cluster, retrofitting ALL light with LEDs. The entire cluster now only draws 25 Mili-Amps. I will post a picture tomorrow. I will also use LED bulbs on all of my turn signals and tail light.
