Inherited a Kawasaki, What now?

Hello,
Our uncle passed away in September, and we inherited a 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 and know nothing about bikes. We've heard this is a collector's year, but don't know where to start to have it checked out or sell it. I wondered if some generous KZRider person could help steer us in the right direction? We're in Erie, Colorado.
Thank you for any guidance. I thought I'd start with the most passionate people and go from there.
Thank you,
Pamela and siblings

I have two KZ1000A1/A2. And I have seen all the ugly bits of both motorcycles...and the costs of getting both to a reasonable state.

I know this  'request for value' is from indirect email,...but I personally think she is hopping this KZ would sell like ....some sort of  Lawrence of Arabia's Brough Superior,....

I let Pamela know that I posted her request here, even linked it. Of course to respond she'd have to register and I haven't seen any effort there.
Her best hope is that someone from here lives near her.
Oh well if nothing new comes forth I'll delete the whole thing. I see these requests regularly I usually just tell 'em to register. Probably should have dome that here as well.
Bill

Here's tonight's inquiry:
