TOPIC:

Ok, I was talking to some KZ buds of mine, when we got to talking about absolute (have to) mods on our KZs. So, I am curious as to other peoples opinions on this topic. Mine are:

1. Replacing the factory fuse box
2. 4 to 1 headers or drilling out factory ones
3. Replacing factory rear shocks
4. Removing the air intake silencer
5. Replacing electrical connectors

Lets have some fun with this. Whats yours?

Paint (sorry Ron), exhaust, lowering, seat and fuse box replacement. I have more but you asked for five.

1: Replaced fuse box/some wiring/some connections
2: Replaced air filter with oiled foam UNI
3: Coil mod
4: Tapered neck bearings
5: Electronic ignition
6: Halogen headlight

Things I want to do:

1: Oil cooler
2: 4-1 Exhaust

1-good tires,brakes,steering head bearings and shocks.2-4n1.3-lower it into the weeds.4-repaint ,polish,plate everything else!

1. 4-1 exhaust
2. pods
3. 29mm smoothbores
4. degree in cams
5. braided brake lines

1. Gusset frame
2. Small battery, delete starter
3. Rear shocks
4. Clip-ons and rear sets - can't have one...
5. Strip it down nekkid.

Oh boy, this is hard. I could easily add ten more

1. 4 into 1 & pods & re-jet (do all at once)
2. replace ALL the old janky wiring (let me tell you how fun that was ) (this includes the fuse swap)
3. a different seat
4. electronic ignition w/ coil mod
5. footprint shaped brake pedal (make Joe Dirt proud)

How long do 4-repaints normally last?

1 Throw away standard frame(sometimes)
2 Make up own wiring harness
3 Uprate brakes
4 Sort out suspension
5 530 chain conversion

no that was numero 4 of the mods!

1 get a bike 2take it all apart 3 toss all the parts in the bin with all the others 4 build a bike out of the bin 5 paint it up

1) modern tires
2) reducing trail by jacking up rear end
3) fork brace
4) race seat
5) dumping over weight fairing
