Well then as zed1015 said, you may have to stick with 630 or spend a lot of money on "one-off" parts (and don't forget these are "wear" parts so will need replacing again at some point in the future !!)

It seems even Sunstar has stopped making sprockets for everything made before 1995.
I just searched for their gpz750 520/530 offset sprockets they had in a catalog and they are no longer made along with the Suzuki offset 530 sprocket I used on my 750.
That sucks......

What about making, or having a machinist make a sprocket? A blank could be cut on a lathe, then cut the teeth. Send out for heat treat when done. A mill with a dividing head maybe? Or, mod two existing sprockets then stack and weld them together for the offset?

already mentioned. but seems like I've read about going with a spacer on the gpzs w offset sprocket.

You can buy splined spacers from webike or use a couple of splined tab washers. How much offset do you need? I got a 19mm offset sprocket made for my 1100 wasn’t cheap mind but better than spacers in my book.
i have a spare sprocket it might be off a zzr i can’t remember

I just came up with what was intended to be a 520 chain conversion for a KZ1000 All new in the packages, 15T probably offset as it has a hub front about 3/16" thick , 39T Sunstar rear and 100 link MCC chain. I have no idea if it would fit. PM me if interested.

A spacer won't work because there isn't enough threads on the output shaft.

That depends on how thick the splined flange on the sprocket is, I could fit a 3mm spacer and a tab washer behind the sprocket and fit a tab washer behind the nut on my gpz 1100 unitrac

I cannot find anywhere that says what the correct chain length for stock gearing was in 630, and like a fool I threw out my old one weeks ago when I was tearing down the bike. Anybody happen to know the correct link count?

JT Sprocket’s online catalog shows 94L for the standard 15/38 630 setup. Mama Kaw’s own parts diagram confirms 94L as well.

Webike Japan offers a 530 conversion sprocket from XAM with either 16 or 17T for $46. Shipping is a measly $53 though. Ugh!
