I stopped using Dynateck motorcycle wire kits over 15 years ago, I find them expensive for what you get. I usually look for deals on either MSD or Mallory V8 car 8mm wire kits with 135 degree boots.

With one kit you can equip two bikes for less than the price of one Dyna brand kit plus they give you a extra wire for the car coil and extra boots and metal connectors. You can cut to fit as they have extra long wires not required on Kawi engines.

Since both makes are aftermarket high performance used in racing you can pick and choose your core material plus they never come with resistors in the boots. The fixed 135 degree end boot is perfect for our heads.

To my amateur mind, this seems a believable explanation.

My Taylor leads have the fiberglass/carbon cores
Those sound like the suppressor type, with resistance.
Indeed but only 700 ohms total for the cap and lead so much less than regular resistor caps

Weird. It takes me to an engineering blog.
Dirty link.  It misdirected us too.  We saw a popup trying to re-direct us to a site to scan for malware.  It almost certainly plants undesirable cookies.

Examining a copy / paste of the full link into a text editor reveals much apparent gibberish after the query separator ( the '?' often seen in links)  that is commonly used for tracking or nefarious purposes.

The full link is automatically truncated by the KZR site.  Note the three dots  ... .  That indicates truncation.
engineerskill.blog/are-all-spark-plug-wi...aZUEcDgJ4wnZh8tre0Fs

The full link pasted into a text editor appears as below, edited with a space either side of the :  to break it, allowing us to see the full link sans truncation.  Note the gibberish string after the '?' :
https : //engineerskill.blog/are-all-spark-plug-wires-the-same?__cf_chl_tk=HWnRLPrsLokS0yBpwpfiGK7tVZwui5OAT4ylNvpRa0g-1791465658-1.0.1.1-xTWZVSIjlSB8rC5C53bJoNNaZUEcDgJ4wnZh8tre0Fs

The gibberish string by itself following the query separator that redirects to... somewhere:
?__cf_chl_tk=HWnRLPrsLokS0yBpwpfiGK7tVZwui5OAT4ylNvpRa0g-1791465658-1.0.1.1-xTWZVSIjlSB8rC5C53bJoNNaZUEcDgJ4wnZh8tre0Fs

The final target of the re-direct string may vary between clicks or devices.  We're not gonna explore to find out.  It tried to re-direct our Linux box to 'allow' something, but failed. Linux is pretty immune to that crap.  It also demanded to 'click here' to prove we're human.  May behave differently on a windoze box.

A clean link to the blog sans redirect gibberish is below.  There's a popup ad in the blog for AliExpress that sneaks by our ad blocker, but closes cleanly with one click.  Otherwise, the blog looks legit.  We'd suggest browser cookies from AliEx be deleted from your browser after viewing:
engineerskill.blog/are-all-spark-plug-wires-the-same/

EDIT: That's a very good education on plug wires!

Pro tip - any time one wishes to copy / paste a link, deleting everything following the query separator character ( the ? ) will very likely keep the link clean of redirect and / or tracking info.   Paste the link to be shared into a text editor to see everything, delete characters after the ' ? ' , and share away.  Your target audience might thank you.  It's just common interwebs courtesy.

I cleaned up the original link, so hopefully there will be no more problems. I poked around the blog site to see if I could contact the owners, but had no luck there.
