So I kinda already asked this on my build thread but to give it its own thread might be a good idea.

I am looking to find out about the cover which has a voltmeter in it. Can I use it on my bike ?

Anyone know if its just the cover to swap or the whole unit?

Is it a hard job?

Thanks and regards

Larry

I don't see any reason why not, you will have to check a wiring diagram to see if the voltmeter picks up it's live and ground internally from the oil pressure/ neutral light supply or if it needs a separate wire running

The really question is whether the version with the voltmeter has an oil and neutral light because I can't really tell from the photos I got it's to dark to see and I don't have any idea.

Also what do people call this?

Control light housing cluster
dashboard
cockpit layout

Any help

It would need to be the complete warning light unit (which will have the required warning lights - oil/neutral etc) other members more familiar with the model will be able to confirm

What motorcycle do you have?  Guessing it's a 750E. On some models the part is listed as a pilot box cover.  Your motorcycle may have the oil warning light at the center pilot box, but the donor part does not have a spot for an oil light (it would be at the tachometer instead).
EB pics can be handy in figuring out what the pilot lights are.
Meter pics on pg 8 of this topic might help >>> Nessism KZ750E >> www.kzrider.com/forum/11-projects/604901...ject-thread?start=84

Partzilla has diagrams. Also, Kawasaki.com. And Cmsnl.com in the UK.

The 750 dash cover in your post had the oil pressure light in the tach shown in this picture :

You could easily add a red light to that dash cover shown and swap over the wires from your original oil pressure lamp - Ebay (186241200092) or your local auto parts supplier.

You must be in Europe as you have a KPH speedo.
