TOPIC:

i have a set of vm28's ( from a 74-75' z900) for my 76 kz900 (punched out to 1075) i have a 4 into 1 kerker header with no baffle and pod filters. my main jets are 120..not sure about pilots. what is the best position of the needle? i have them in slot 3 at the moment..i had ignition problems so i am unsure just how well the carbs were working. i thought since the bike was down i would do all that i could to get it right. thanks for the info and help. i got them in pieces and put them together myself...

p.s.--plugs looked ok, not real sooty...slightly black.
