Which bike are these carburetors off of? Main jets are #127.5 on many of the 1100 models... in other words, stock jetting. You might describe your pipes, airbox and engine mods, if known. Without knowing the bike and some details, I doubt you will get any good help rejetting.

I didn't realize that all that stuff in your signature was your carb set up... in any case, run #140 main jets and #40 pilot jets; since the jet needle isn't adjustable on US models, I have found it doesn't need shimmed. If you have jet needles with various clip positions, you can likely leave it on the 3rd clip slot.

You can leave the pilot mixture screws at about 1.5 turns out. I don't seat these screws but put the tips flush in the holes in the venturi then back them out as they tend to break off easily if seated so about 2 turns if you seat them, I guess. If you get up near redline with your bike and it starves for gas a bit at higher rpms, try some bigger mains. The settings I noted are pretty much for a stock bike (like my KZ900 test bikes) using pods/aftermarket pipes. I have tested stock 750s, 900s and 1000s with this combo of jets and it works great. Since you bike is beefed just a shade, if you run out of gas, try some larger mains... you should need to go up over #145s though... I guess #142.5s would be a decent starting point if you just wanted to get one set and not experiment.

Kano, just a heads up - donĀ“t know if you have a manual, but my 1100 manual has this note about the BS34s:

"Kawasaki uses reverse type main jets, which have a round head. Do not substitute hex head Mikuni or Amal jets. The numbering systems are not equivalent; a given jet number will flow different amounts of fuel".
77 KZ 650 B1, 82 GPz 1100 B2.

Kano,

I just rebuilt my BS34's . I installed a dyno kit in them. My mechanic who restores Z's by the way told me to go with 155's on the main's. I haven't installed them on the bike so I can't tell you how they run.

Good luck!

yeh dude i saw them and i thought id done a good job on mine lol.
how much difference did the dyno kit make on the carbs?
im gonna do a couple of runs on my buddys dyno rolling road to see if the jets are big enough as there isnt any roads long enough to truly test the bike out here on the island max speed limit is 45 lol yeh right!!!!
