I bought these carbs and I'm trying to figure out what bike they were on. Going to use them on my kz1000 project. They are mikuni 38mm carbs. I would like to figure out whitch bike their for so I can learn a little more about them.

what kind of kz1000 project are you building?i had 38 smoothbores on my 1327 and took them off way too big of carbs for a streetbike.if youre into dragracing and keeping throttle pegged they might be ok but youll still need a lot of motor.;)

Not sure what the 38 flatslides came off of but if you showed the other (choke) side, would help. They came from a much more modern bike than a KZ or GS. What strikes me stange are the filters on vent lines... Those sure look like gas filters.

Carbs look like they might be off a mid '90s ZX-9R. The reason Isay that is because on my 1995 that Ihad, I remember the 2 black breather chambers attaching to piping on the ram air air box on top of the tank. Anyway..just a guess. I am sure there are several carbs out there with similar construction.
