Remove and clean your carbs?
I hear people say this all the time.
I have an 85 KZ1000 P bike and I need to clean the carbs badly. How do I go about cleaning them without screewing up the synchronization?
PLEASE HELP.

If you decide to clean the carburetors thoroughly, they will need to be split from their holder and you will need to synchronize them once they are reassembled. There isn't a way around this that I know of.

Ok then... if I take them off and do a general cleaning how do I sync them back up so it will run right?

The procedure is thoroughly explained in Haynes, Clymer and Kawasaki Factory Service Manuals. There are also a few basic articles about carb cleaning and bench synching, in the file menu. Go community, files, not model specific. It really is best to have a manual though.
