carbs leaking gas

where are you guys getting your carb kits for a 1979 kz1000 ltd b3? also i had better get gaskets for the accelarator pump,,,tia,,,,hydro

Inquire with Nessism, he has all kinds of complete VM Mikuni kits. Just to verify though because the 1979 and 1980 28's looked similar there were slight differences and kit ordered will reflect this. Your 1979 "should" have these bigger pilot air adjust brass screws, not the smaller recessed ones. The photos are of a set i had laying around but for the 1979 A3       or 16001-1131. Slight differences in jetting but everything else the same. Just a templet to make sure you get what you seek. Have you established exactly where they are leaking from? Are they fully functional, just leaking?
