Single carb intake manifold
Today 20:38
Thought i might drop this here for thoughts/comments/critique.
I decided to convert one of my bikes to single carb to see how it goes, and because the stock carbs are shot.
I ordered keihin pwk34 carb and a jetting kit.
I took measurements from the engine and started designing an intake. I 3d printed the mating surface first to make sure it fit, then went through 2 iterations to get here. This one left the carb tilted more than I'd like, so I am printing a new revision that drops the carb a bit, rocks it forward so it is more upright, and pushes it back a bit so the airflow is a little smoother. Of course it will not remain PLA... once I get a geometry I like, I will cast the part in aluminum.
