83KZ750 Re-Jetting Questions.
Hi all I have had to rebuild from the ground up a 1983 Kawasaki KZ750 H4 LTD. To include engine rebuild and carb rebuild as well. Unfortunately the person I bought the bike from removed the stock air box for pod filters, with that I was able to tune and sync my carbs as best I can but I still get a hang in the RPM when bliping the throttle. I would like to re-jet the carb but I don't know where to start, I see some sources say going up sizes on main and idle jets but what size should I go to? I cant read the stamps on the jets currently in the carb so it is hard to tell what size they are. If anybody has any good part numbers for jet kits or sizes I should go to that would be amazing, even ways of restricting the air flow or a 3D print file or STL so I can print my own stock airbox. Thank you guys for the support!

I have used Dynojet kits in most of my bikes and have been pleased with the results. I think this would be even more important since you do not know what is in the carbs at present.

Re: 83KZ750 Re-Jetting Questions.
Today 23:57 - Today 23:58I have also used Dynojet's on a couple of bikes (my Harris and my current build) however don't forget they only come with needles, main jets and air correctors so if the rest of the internals are unknown (pilots, needle jets, choke plungers, "O" rings etc) you may still need to experiment a bitI have used Dynojet kits in most of my bikes and have been pleased with the results. I think this would be even more important since you do not know what is in the carbs at present.

Do you need to buy one of the $169.99 kits for each carb? It looks like there is enough stuff in each kit for two carbs but I want to make sure I get the right amount.

One kit covers all four carbs. Be sure your pods are worth using. Real deal K&N, APE, UNI, or similar quality. You will spend another chunk of $$ on those. NO chinisium junk Emgo or the like.
