Oh wow, they really do look better, do you have the link? I'd already seen some, but they looked like dust and were $212, I think. Those KZ 1000 carburetors, haha, they definitely won't make it fly any faster, haha.Thanks for the help!

I wouldn't have a clue how to link? I still don't know what copy and paste mean ha. Just go on ebay and type in "Kawasaki KZ650 CSR carbs", click the "USED" section to the left side of screen and they will pop-up. They are both located in the US so might inquire if they would be willing to ship to Mexico before/if you buy them!! Tariff crap has made it super difficult to finalize even simple transactions across boarders, every boarder!

That's perfect, then I'll look and see if I can find it. Customs duties are a huge problem. Sometimes packages even get stuck in customs for months.I'll keep that in mind too. I just hope they arrive as soon as I have the money; I'll buy them right away. I won't waste any more time. Thanks again for the help.

I don't know but was under the impression sending "from" the US was let problematic than sending "to" the US ??

Honesty Wookie i've not a clue, just know soo much has changed. And not to stereotype your postal delivery system 33 but even waay back a lot of persons wouldn't ship to Mexico because of the rampant theft involved. Same goes for Russia and Italy. I've shipped a lot of stuff to a Friend in Italy over the years but he requested that i ship items to his local Catholic Church. I guess stealing from God was taboo ha.

These carbs look to be an outright disaster.  In addition, running without an airbox is a fail, and using worm clamps on some old crusty rubber intake boots are another fail.  Honestly, and I mean this sincerely, check the New Owner Things to Know thread for a long list of items that MUST be right before the bike is put on the road.  Shortcuts are long cuts, as referenced by these carbs.

Here is a carb rebuild tutorial that will help guide you.  There are some details that are different, but the general approach and 90% of the details share between different model BS Mikuni carbs.  Also, you will need O-rings and gaskets.  Easy to come by stuff, that many people can't be bothered with doing.

I apologize for not replying to this message sooner. Thank you for the information, but I've changed my plans.I've replaced those old, unusable carburetors with a set of two 250cc twin-cylinder carburetors. You can see them in the projects thread. I've already tested them and they just need adjusting.

I wish You luck!! I know it's hard to get stuff to your area and you have to do what you can to make do. Like the garden hose breather attachment, mean green and reinforced to boot! Those look like Honda Keihin VE Chinese knockoffs. This style of Keihins were used on the Honda Nighthawk.

If they are indeed from a Honda Rebel 250, it's explained in more detail in the projects thread, although I'm not sure whether to continue that thread there or if I should have created it here in the carburetor section. But as I said, it's a good solution, and I think it would be very helpful, at least for someone who also doesn't have access to the parts, to read everything I'm going to do.

Here's some additional info if it helps! It's from a 550-650 Honda manual. SOO Sorry you're going to have to go the "extra" mile to sort these out but.. Note the "Original" Keihin's had fixed Jet Needles, don't know what those pattern aftermarket ones contain? Often the Chinese versions had unmarked individual jetting bits so you won't have a clue for a baseline. Ganging those two sets together might be a bear. You'll at a minimum will need a 2 into 1 splitter throttle cable to pull up the pulleys.

I was actually thinking of buying the one from the Yamaha RD350, which is a one-to-two.
Although the pushrod system can work if it's done properly, fortunately these are replicas of the original Keihin carburetors. Because of that, I can get high-pressure nozzles more easily.
Today I will spend my day continuing to start the motorcycle and adjusting those throttles so that everything is properly regulated when I get around to it.
