Good day everyone, In wondering what kind of Jet needles are you using in your VM carburetor?!  5dl31, 5cn13, 5dp7 ?! There’s a lot of models and shapes.. I’m curious about that!

You should use whatever is stock with your carb.
The jet needle is not a stand alone item.
It is designed to work with the corresponding needle jet and slide cutaway etc to deliver the optimum fuel curve for a specific mix of components that make up the carb specifications for your particular model.
This is why the same carbs from other years that are made up of different needles, jets and slide cutaway configurations will still work correctly when substituted with your originals.

Thank you Zed, I was thinking that I could try a different one richer at 1/8 throttle and keeping the same needle jet!!

Generally if you fit a richer jet needle (by the number) without changing to a corresponding recommended needle jet size it will be rich at every throttle setting. Raising or lowering the clip height is the only suggested way to change the tuning.

Mikuni VM carbs as fitted to stock engines at Kawasaki or Suzuki (mostly) had set tuning parameters for those specific setups (air box with stock dual exhaust) If you deviate from those parameters your always going to have to put up with gaps in the tuning at certain throttle settings. Even from the factory those stock bikes did not have "perfect" tuning, they had to make compromises for mass production.
