We use much more fuel line some years than others depending on what's in the shop. Briggs & Stratton 395051R Bulk Fuel Line - 25FT works fine on Z1's, is ethanol rated, and is economical.
Related question:
What thin wall, ethanol-compatible fuel line are you buying in bulk for fuel bowl overflow use? A Z1 will use most of a 10 ft. length.

Suzuki PN 09352-70104-00B is 7mm ID and 10.2mm OD, stretchy, not easily kinked, and when you order, they send you about 5' of the stuff. It's the best fuel hose I've used. No clamp needed, unlike thick honk'n car fuel line, that's either too small or too large ID for a good fit.
