Those filters from Summit are probably Emgo filters. Have you tried to stuff two of those filters on a Z1900 using the stock petcock. Pretty tight. So I use a Pingel Petcock along with their 1 in and 2 out filter. Or if you have the stock petcock they do make a 2 lines in and 2 lines out unit. A bit more expensive but gets rid of the headache of trying to stuff filters in a small area

That's exactly why we use the 90 deg. Visu filters on the 1 - 2 feed from Mama Kaw's dual outlet petcock. They tuck in quite nicely. Lots more room in the 3-4 feed.

If it matters, my take on such filtration petrol tasks. I strongly prefer exquisite filtering before it even enters the petcock. As mentioned by Cra-Z1, pingle offers a "sock" over the ON/RESERVE inlets to the ball valve of petcock housing. Every manufacture did this via sock or sediment bowl/screen and were completely adequate. The only things that i can see going wrong is if the lever selector puck disintegrated and bits of rubber detached or, wait for it..re-lining the tank with some product to pretty it up. I've seen that Red-Coat emulsify with fuel and zip right thru any Non-Paper filter only to settle in bowl or metering circuitry. Generally not a problem if used frequently but let a machine sit and petrol drains back out of galleys/jets, you leave behind a film of that broken down Tank coating plugging passages and jets. There's your seafood dinner, ha.    

In the UK , hadn’t heard of Visu fuel filters , can get them via APE racing on Amazon , thanks for the heads up . Just re lined my z900A4 tank and keen to make sure anything in the tank doesn’t muck up my carbs . Should be ok as re lined but some insurance is helpful . 

I see "Ape Racing" fuel filters on Amazon, but can't find these in the APE catalog.  Also, some companies sell "Ape Racing" fuel filters, when they are clearly china store fronts.  Visu-Filters are harder to find, and more expensive.  

The real deal Visu-Filter sintered bronze filters are rated for 65-100 micron.  Not particularly fine filtering.  They are about as good as it gets for a gravity feed system, though.  Some companies claim better filtering, but that usually comes at a cost of flow restriction.  

Ah , probably a play on the APE name and Chinese ones . Have saw other ones for aircraft in the EU ( France) , will have a better look at those and forget the Amazon ones .
