I've been happy with my carb settings for 50's and 60's F. Spring riding, and anticipate the need to lean them for Summer temps in the 70's and 80's.

Should I be able to compensate by changing air jets or simply lowering the main jet needles?

Referencing the zed1015 air corrector jet forum post from 25 Dec. 2019 link below:

Mikuni BS30/97 Air Jets come with orifice sizes ranging from 0.5 to 2.0 per Niche chart (link below) which appear to correlate with measurements observed on my digital micrometer.

RS Flat Slide MIkuni carbs utilize BS30/97 air jets.
With current cool air temps and low humidity where I live, my engine purrs at idle, and spark plug color appears good.  Acceleration and deceleration are strong/smooth with the following (air corrector?) jets installed:

#1  size 1.0
#2    "    1.2
#3    "    1.2
#4    "    1.1

The Pilot Fuel Screws are set between 1/8 and 1/4 turns out from lightly seated.
