Is the 4.5K rpm limit both when reving in neutral, and when riding?
Can you look into the back of the carbs with the engine running?  As you rev the engine are the slides going up and down equally?
Only revving in neutral in the garage.  Too unresponsive to take to the street, uphill driveway back to house garage so will not try it.
The slides move up and down together, yes.

Have you tried an independent fuel supply that isn't running through the petcock ?
So, we tried an external fuel supply but got the same result, no go past 4 - 4.5 rpms.
Been also having a leak on the number 2 carb bowl even with a new O-ring, not sure how that could be tied to this.
Hope there are more ideas/things to test or try.  Be nice to be able to ride it again one day...

I know this is an old post so hopefully, you got it sorted, but if not, you mentioned you were using Dynojet parts.  Did you go through their trouble shooting guide??  gpzweb.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.co...eshootingGuide02.gif
