I'm changing the engine in my 81 kz550 to an 84 zx550
But the carb boots are different. I'd like to keep the carbs from the 81. I think carb boots from a 1977 kz900 will work but not sure hoping someone will have the answer.

Z1 & KZ900/1000 from 1973 up to at least 1980 use the same intake boots.

I measure one carb boot installed on the manifold at 1-11/16 in. OD where the carb fits into the boot. The distance from the outside of #1 to the outside of #4 is 11-3/8 in. That's the distance between the outer edges of the boots when installed on the head.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
