bad idling, oil spitting exhaust.... kz305csr
15 Feb 2012 06:18
Hello KZriders,
I still havent done the 'clear tube test' because my garage isnt finished yet.. I hope i can start at the end of the week. But i have another question, maybe one of you can tell me what to do...
I charged the battery tonight and when i putted it back into the bike i started the engine without the airfilter. In the beginning the bike idle's good, almost perfect, but after a while when i pulled the throttle a bit, it started idling very irregular, up and down.
And when i pull the throttle to give power it sounds oke, and then push the throttle back to let the bike idle, the engine almost quits before it idles.
When i feel behind the exhausts, the left one has more pressure than the right one, but the left one also spits oil on my hand :S
I hope someone of you can help me and tell me what to do.. thanks!

Some preliminary checks would include: assure correct valve clearances, ignition timing, and operation of the timing advancer.
