carbs on my 82 kz 1100 spectre d1

O.K I've been having lots of issues with my baby over the last year. from wiring to starter clutch. thanx to all the guys here I've solved and fixed them all ,eccept this last one. it seems the last time I took my carbs apart apperentley I didnt re-asemble them right. would any one have a diagram on the order in which the parts go back together ? I think I might know where the problem is but I've lerned it better for me to come here and ask you guys first. Instead of doing it over and over a few time before I get it right.I havent touched the sinc. of them. I've removed the bowls and floats , jets and cleaned the fuel suply area , found lots of stuff in the . I pulled appert the tops and cleaned there to . thats where I think I'm having my issues now. below the diaframs is a brass looking pin and a round plastic piece wich moves up and down the tube. I', not sure if the round plastic piece is suposed to go abouve the pin or if the pin goes through it.I belive one of my issues is the plastic piece sticking in the tube. If some one could post me a picture of the assembley order for me I would greatley apriesioat it. thanx the picture shows the barrel things in side I'm talking about and the pins coming out the bottom of them

Also on the bottom of the slide there will be a small hole, this faces towards the engine Vacuum, not the Air Box. There should be a locating tab on the Rubber Diaphragm, which goes into a notch on the carb body to locate it.

If your referring to # 16055 then no it is not supposed to move. It is held in place by the spring. I read your post on the starter clutch and you mentioned the bike would only run with full choke. Your issue sounds more like a dirty, clogged carburator. You need to clean everything in it including the small passages in the carb bodies. I mean CLEAN not just spray it down like most people think cleaning is.
