Leaky Boot but no cracks?

So i had a slow fuel leak coming from one of my intake manifolds and i removed it to replace it but I see no cracks or damage at all. Could it still be faulty in some way?

slow fuel leak would be a stuck float or level too high.
what does the air box look like wet with gas?

Check your float level. Gas should never be leaking out of intake boots.

Yes the airbox had some gas in it. I replaced the boot and no more sporadic idling or rough riding in 1st gear so the vacuum leak is fixed. Do I still need to be worried about a slow leak now though?

Was it only leaking while running? I don't think I've heard of fuel leaking through the boots, unless it was from a stuck, or improperly adjusted float level. It only takes a few minutes to check, so I would double check that before assuming it is fixed. :)

If you have a vacuum petcock, or even a manual one that is turned off, the gas will only leak with the petcock on (engine running for vacuum). It's up to you, but personally I would check to make sure it's set right.
