03 636 reserve distance

Hi, My son just got a 03 636 and it just has a fuel light as opposed to a guage. How many miles does he have to go after the light comes on? Thanks Joe

I don't know about the 636 specifically, but I own a 2004 zx-10r. It has a 1.5 gal reserve when the light comes on. It's good for about 60 miles on that bike. I don't test it. When the light comes on, I'll hit the next reputable gas station I see.

Ride the bike until the fuel light comes on. Then fill up the tank & subtract that amount from the total capacity.

You have about 20 miles when the 2nd light comes on, by the 2nd light i mean the fuel light goes from solid to flashing

I used to have an 03 ZX636 and I don't recall that the fuel light goes from solid to flashing. I could be wrong though, I sold the bike a few years ago.
