I've playing pool in my dads pool hall since the 70's and I still suck. Which one is the cue ball?

Not only does he identify the carbs wrongly, but he cannot even assemble them correctly... amazing

Worse, he's adamant he is correct... and pretending to be a skilled person with 30+ years of experience... hmm....

I'm curious how he replaced all the o-rings, jets and float needle valve assemblies - none of the 29mm smoothbore parts will work on these carbs...

Would you trust him to rebuild your carbs?

Hell no!

The seller finally acknowledges these are not VM29's - but his latest 'interpretation' sure helps his credibility huh...

He's now claiming the carbs are modified to take the VM29 float bowls, with different emulsion tubes and special floats.... what a BS'er - his 30 years of expertise is clearly showing through.

Sounds to me that he is learning his little ebay lesson. Maybe all the guys riding aircooled fours aren't complete idiots that fall for every scam offered. He's still about $200-$300 off the price IMO. I seriously doubt that these carbs have been bored to 29mm. I could put enough pressure on those POS plastic calipers to get them to read 29mm if you could even read the dial in the picture. Just another ebay snake oil salesman trying to make a quick buck. He can rot on the vine and learn that an honest living is made with honest work.

He has other things wrong with those carbs to. Looks like they are on a 75 rack with the aluminum cable pull and I believe he has the chokes mixed up with a newer set also. I dont think you can put those newer chokes in those, they dont seat all the way. In one picture he has the 75 emulsion tube in one carb body and the rest are the right ones?
