I heard good things about this process so i send some carbs to get done, best £40 i spent so far, i can't believe how good they look now!

Just bought a replacement screw kit to finish them off properly

Me too, should be interesting anyway! I've upped the pilots to 50 & mains to 135 but thats a starting point. The carbs needed a couple of 'O' Rings for the emulsion tubes & washers/seals for the needle jet carrier (dont know the specific name). I also noticed that the needle clip was in position 4 so i moved it back to 3. I'm going to set the float level at the weekend as 1 carb needed a new float. What liquid should i use to set them?, the carbs are off the bike obviously & i don't really want to be sniffing petrol (gas) fumes all day!

You can use water to start with, get them set, then just double check with Petrol.
With the Pod's you will want the Needle clip 1 position rich, and not in the center/ stock clip position. Don't forget to set the Butterflies so they are the same opening. This is part of your Bench set-up.

Someone here on KZR had his done in an electroless nickel coating. I think it takes a bit of work, though.
