ok...on the clear tube adjustment theory....what exactly are we looking for...i read saw it and dont understand it....how do you knw when there is too much gas and not enuff....if i hook up the clear tube to the drain hole what or how much gas should i show...how would you adjust floats using this method...maybe im a dumb ass but i just aint grasping the theory...sorry...

Here is another video similar to what motorhead posted. But on my KZ carbs, which you will be more familiar with and in HD.
I use two methods of checking. But the clear tube method is shown. If any one of the levels are off, you will take the float bowl off and then the float itself off. Then adjust/bend in very small increments the tab on the float bowl. Please refer to your service manual to explain this adjustment. Afterwards, check with the clear tube method again.
