How important is the level of fuel in the bowl? Specs say 2mm from the top of the carb body where the bowl meet the body to the hight of fuel in the bowl. What would be some probelms associated with either to high or to low of levels? The carb is a keihin cv32

Fuel level is Very Important, and with Multiple Carbs they all should be the same. If Low it will cause a lean condition, and High a Rich condition, possibly even flooding if high enough. Basically it will effect how easy the fuel will be lifted through the Jets from the Fuel Bowl. High= easy, Low= harder.

I could not believe how inportant it was until I did it.
I checked using a ruler. I noted the measurements. I removed the carbs, turned them upside down, measured the float height, did the math and adjusted the float height to give me the calculated correct fuel level.

The difference between having the correct to spec fuel level versus something that was eyeballed and innacurate was amazing !!! I could feel the difference beforeI reached the end of my one car length driveway.
Go for it

Super important. My right carb was one mm higher than the left and it made it spit and sputter at idle. Put it up on the center stand to make sure they are level.
